From our Vancouver Cantata Singers 50 release:

To celebrate the Vancouver Cantata Singers' 50th Anniversary season, we have produced a recording which represents a picture of VCS past and present. The choir has frequently performed American folk hymns and spirituals. New works by Baltic and South American composers are more representative of recent programming, and the sampling of works by Canadian composers included two new pieces by members(*) of the Cantata Singers.
